  1. Open Settings → Plugins.
  2. Open Developer mode and turn it on.
  3. Return to Plugins, select Browse plugins, then select the + beside the search field.
  4. Create a new plugin named IdeaFoundry, paste the URL above as the Server URL, choose OAuth, and select Create.
  5. Start a new Work chat and type “IdeaFoundry Home.”

Custom plugins require Developer mode and may depend on your ChatGPT plan or workspace permissions.

  1. Open Customize → Connectors.
  2. Select + → Add custom connector.
  3. Enter IdeaFoundry, paste the URL above, and select Add.
  4. Complete sign-in.
  5. In a new chat, open + → Connectors, enable IdeaFoundry, and type “IdeaFoundry Home.”

For Team or Enterprise, an owner must first add the connector through the organization’s connector settings.

  1. Open Atlassian Administration → Apps → Sites → your site → Connected apps.
  2. Open the menu beside Explore apps and select Add external MCP server.
  3. Accept the disclaimer, select Custom MCP server, and paste the URL above.
  4. Complete sign-in, then select the IdeaFoundry tools you want to enable.
  5. Open Rovo in Jira and type “IdeaFoundry Home.”

An Atlassian organization or site administrator must complete the initial connection.

Kimi Code in VS Code
  1. Open the Kimi Code extension in VS Code.
  2. Select the gear icon, then MCP Servers.
  3. Add an HTTP server named IdeaFoundry and paste the URL above.
  4. Select Authorize, complete sign-in, test the connection, and save it.
  5. Start a new Kimi Code chat and type “IdeaFoundry Home.”
